Cumi-cumi saus padang (Squid sauce of Padang)





















Famous Indonesian dishes with lots of spices. One of the cuisine is the cuisine of Padang. Spices are never out in Padang cuisine. like this one dish. Dishes using squid as Ingredients basic.

Ingredients: 


  • 500 grams of squid, discard the skin and entrails, replace the head of the squid with the help of skewers gig 
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in a little water 
  • 250 ml of water 
  • 3 tablespoons oil, for sauteing 
  • 3 cm ginger, crushed 
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce 
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce bottle 
  • 6 tablespoons tomato sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon pepper 
  • 1½ tsp salt, puree 
  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 6 pieces of curly red chili, puree 
  • 6 red onions, puree 
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed 


How to Make:


  • Saute the ingredients are mashed together with the ginger until fragrant. 
  • Enter the squid, stir until stiff. 
  • Add water and other seasonings, simmer. 
  • Cook over low heat until cooked squid and spices to infuse. 
  • Finally enter the cornstarch solution while continuing to stir until gravy thickens. 
  • Remove and serve.
