The basic ingredients:
350 grams of chicken meat, minced

Ingredients for skin:
10 sheets of dumpling skin
6 pieces of tofu
5 medium-sized potatoes
5 pare
5 pieces of cabbage, trimmed leaves bone
5 cucumber
Chilli bean sauce:
100 grams of peanuts, toasted
50 grams pecans, toasted
2 cloves garlic, fried
2 red chilies, steamed
1 tablespoon vinegar

How to make: 

  • The basic ingredients: mix all together, stir until smooth, then divide into 6 parts. 
  • Siomai: fill each dough dumpling skin with raw materials, and shapes such as bowls and extract the edges and set aside. 
  • Know: cut each into 2 triangles, and each triangle is split into 2, dredge one side, fill with the basic dough ingredients, set aside. 
  • Potatoes: cut each into 2, then dredge one side, fill with the basic dough ingredients, set aside. 
  • Melon and cucumber: cut each into 4, then rake the seed part, content with the basic dough ingredients, set aside. 
  • Col: dip in boiling water in order to wilt, then fill each dough sheet with basic ingredients, fold, roll, and set aside. 
  • Once everything is ready, steamed until cooked, remove from heat. 
  • Chilli bean sauce: puree peanuts, pecans, garlic, and red pepper, then add the vinegar, salt, sugar, and water and stir well. 
  • Usually siomai duo served together with chilli bean sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, and lime. Good luck.
