Manisan is one of the specialties of the town of Cianjur, (Bandung) is already very well known from the start manisan salak (candied bark), manisan mangga (candied mango), and many other candied, now we will try to make Manisan cabe (candied sweet chilli). Sweet chilli ? Is there any?,  off course, there is. People of Indonesia was creative human.They are making spicy chili that can be sweet.

Ingredients

  •     Red chili 1/2 kg
  •     sugar, to taste
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Water

How to Make



  • First chili split into two parts so that the seeds can be cleaned.
  • Then chilies soak for 12 hours in salt water.
  • Cook sugar and water, stirring until evenly until the sugar thickens, then remove from heat.
  • Drain chilies that have been soaked.
  • Soak again chilli in sugar while still hot so that seep into the chili.
  • Chili soak about 12 hours, if not sweet, drain chili.
  • And cook the sugar water and soak again chili, until then we get into the sweet chili flavor change.
