Nasi Cikur (Cikur Rice)


Nasi Cikur is rice mixed with spices typical of Indonesia namely Indonesia Cikur or call kencur.
Kencur is a spice derived from roots like, turmeric, galangal, but has a characteristic Smell, and taste different. Kencur is also widely used in a variety of Indonesian cuisine. Especially rice dishes this one, Nasi Cikur


Lets make it
Nasi Cikur Khas Tasikmalaya 


 Ingredients:
  •     2 plates white rice, chill moment
  •     3 spring onions
  •     1 clove garlic
  •     1 knuckles kencur (cikur)
  •     1/2 ripe stem terasi
  •     cayenne pepper (if using n number to taste), thinly sliced
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Oil for frying to taste

How to make:

  •     Puree onion, garlic, kencur, shrimp paste, until smooth
  •     Heat oil, saute ground spices until fragrant
  •     Add rice and stir until blended
  •     Add salt and cayenne pepper slices, mix well
  •     Lift, ready to be served
  •     Can be given extra toppings: rangginang, omelet, anchovies or whatever to taste
