PINDANG IKAN GARUT (Garut Carps stew)

Ingredients:

  •     500 grams of carp, wash them clean
  •     The oil for frying
  •     1 stalk lemongrass, crushed
  •     2 Salam leaves
  •     1 cm ginger, crushed
  •     2 cm galangal, sliced
  •     2,000 ml of water
  •     1 teaspoon brown sugar
  •     1 ½ teaspoon salt
  •     1 teaspoon soy sauce
  •     20 (240 grams) lemongrass, crushed l
  •     1 tablespoon cooking oil

Softened seasoning:

  •     5 grains hazelnut
  •     7 red onions
  •     3 Ilung garlic
  •     2 cm turmeric

How to make:

  • Carp fry until cooked.  
  • Set neat lemongrass in the pot. 
  • Set fried Carp in the pot
  • Heat the oil. Sauté ground spices,  Salam leaves, ginger, and ginger until fragrant. Add water, brown sugar, and salt. Stir well.
  •  Pour stir into the pan containing the fish. Boil and cook for about 8 hours until cooked and soft bones.
  •  After shrinking water, add soy sauce. Stir well. Serve with warm rice
