Previously we always discuss , on the spicy Indonesian dishes. But this time let's discuss about the sweet side of Indonesia.Iit is none other than Indonesian cake . One of the sweet cakes that is "Putu Mayang" .This cake shapes like spaghetti . It was sweet and delicious taste. And of course the Sweet taste of Indonesia
 


 





Ingredients

  • 250 gr rice flour
  • 800 ml coconut milk
  • 200 g sago Flour
  • salt to taste
  • little food Color (Green, or Red)

Sauce Ingredients :

  • 1 liter of coconut milk
  • 150 grams of brown sugar
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 2 pieces of pandan leaves
  • salt to taste

HOW TO MAKE PUTU MAYANG : 

  1. Cook the rice flour , coconut milk , and salt until cooked . Remove, allow to cool and then enter the sago flour , stirring until blended. Give the color you like and print cake in mold tool 
  2. Steamed with steamer pot that has been covered with banana leaves for 10 minutes . Open the lid every 3 minutes. 
  3. For Sauce : Mix the coconut milk , brown sugar , salt , sugar and pandan leaves into one . Boil over medium heat , stirring frequently until boiling , remove from heat and serve sauce with cake Putu Mayang
