Nasi Cikur is rice mixed with spices typical of Indonesia namely Indonesia Cikur or call kencur.
Kencur is a spice derived from roots like, turmeric, galangal, but has a characteristic Smell, and taste different. Kencur is also widely used in a variety of Indonesian cuisine. Especially rice dishes this one, Nasi Cikur
Lets make it
Ingredients:
- 2 plates white rice, chill moment
- 3 spring onions
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 knuckles kencur (cikur)
- 1/2 ripe stem terasi
- cayenne pepper (if using n number to taste), thinly sliced
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying to taste
How to make:
- Puree onion, garlic, kencur, shrimp paste, until smooth
- Heat oil, saute ground spices until fragrant
- Add rice and stir until blended
- Add salt and cayenne pepper slices, mix well
- Lift, ready to be served
- Can be given extra toppings: rangginang, omelet, anchovies or whatever to taste
