Serebuk/Urap (mix Vegetable)

Serebuk is a dish made of various vegetables mixed with grated coconut. Taste is spicy and savory. In Indonesia, serebuk also Called "Urap".  And many versions making this dish. and this is one of them

Ingredients:

100 grams long beans, cut into 2 cm, boiled
100 grams cabbage, cut into thin sliced, boiled
150 grams of bean sprouts, roots discarded, soaked in warm water
100 grams of spinach, boiled
200 grams of grated coconut


Seasoning/Spices:

4 red chilies, Fried
2 cloves of garlic, Fried
3 red Onion, Fried
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Terasi (Shrimp paste), fried.


How to make :


  • Mashed Chillies, salt and Terasi (you can Skip Terasi. if you Can't find it)
  • Add Garlic,onion, and brow sugar. mashed again
  • Mix Spices with gratet coconut.
  • Mix beans, cabbage, sprouts, spinach, and coconut grated. Stir well.
  • And Done.
  • Serve with warm rice,and fried chicken.

Tempe Tahu Bacem ( Fermented Tofu and Tempeh )


Bacem is a way to preserve food processing products in Yogyakarta. Bacem means soaked in sugar or salt water in order to be durable foodstuffs. And usually yogya people  like making Tempe and Tofu for bacem.It was delicious and savory


So Let's Make it

Ingredients:

4 cut Tofu size 5 x 5 x 2 cm or according to taste
4 slices of tempeh size of 5 x 5 x 2 cm or according to taste

Seasoning:

1 tablespoon coriander, puree
3 cloves garlic, crushed
6 spring onions, puree
1 tamarind
2 tablespoons brown sugar
salt to taste
4 Daun Salam (bay leaves)
2 cm galangal, crushed
Coconut water taste

How to make:


  • Enter tofu, tempeh and All Seasoning to the pan.
  • Give the  coconut water. Cook over low heat until coconut Water Dried. (may be one our ore more),
  • After that You can fry it in hot oil until lightly browned,And Tofu an Tempeh Bacem is Done.
  • Serve with warm Rice and Sambal Terasi (Sauce of Indonesia) or Chilli Sauce.
  • if you want to cook it the next time. you can save it. and fry it later.


If you can't find Tempeh or tofu, you can use Chicken or egg to Make Bacem.

Ingredients:
2 pieces (900g) white Tofu,slice
oil

Spices:
2 tsp salt
3 cloves of garlic, fried
5 red chilies, fried
100 g Palm sugar
and Water to taste
Terasi (Shrimp paste) to taste, fried


How to make:

  • Fried tofu until Golden Brown.
  • Mashed red chilies, salt, terasi.(if you can't found Terasi, you can Skip it, or Change with soy sauce)
  • Add garlic, and mashed.
  • Add Palm Sugar and Mashed.
  • Add Water.Mix Well
  • Take the Fried tofu. And Pour with Sauces.
  • Serve Warm.

Kue Mangkok (Bowl cake)

In Indonesia, this one cake is favorite cake. taste sweet and savory . And the colors also make Indonesian people really like this cake.


Ingredients I:
35 grams of cake flour
65 ml of warm water
2 teaspoons instant yeast

Ingredients II:
150 grams of rice flour
25 grams of corn starch
75 grams of low-protein flour
150 grams of Tape (cassava Permentation), puree
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon salt
225 grams of sugar
200 ml of warm milk from 1/4 coconut
4 drops of pink, green color (other color you like)


How to Make 

  • Mix All of the Ingredients I. Stir well. Let stand 30 minutes.
  • Ingredients II : Mix the rice flour, corn starch, wheat flour, and Tape.
  • Mix With Ingredients II. Add salt and sugar.
  • Pour the warm milk a little as she whipped average 20 minutes. Let stand 90 minutes. For the second part.
  • One section add the pink color.Stir well. One part again add green. Stir well.

This dish is perfect for those of you who are on a diet or vegetarian. a lot of the ingredients using many variety of vegetables. Of course, it's also delicious.

Ingredients:


  • 10 leaves of lettuce 
  • 4 leaves of cabbage 
  • 4 pieces of cucumber 
  • 2 piece tofu 
  • 2 Salted Spinach
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts 
  • 1/2 ounce melinjo chips 
  • 1 large yam pieces 
  • 4 crackers 



Seasoning:


  • 2 red chilies 
  • 2 pieces of cayenne pepper 
  • 2 tbsp ebi (dry shrimp)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar 
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar 
  • 1 tablespoon salt 
  • 3 tbsp vinegar 
  • 1 clove of garlic 


How to Make:

  • Vegetables washed with brine (soaked) and then rinsed with cold water dishes 
  • ebi washed and soaked in to hot water
  • Blend Chilies, cayenne peper, garlic, then put brown sugar.mix 
  • Add Ebi, sugar and vinegar. Boiled
  • Cut tofu and put in sauce, boiled and allow to cool

Sambal Matah (Bali Sauce)

This  is a popular Sambal in Bali dishes.If you like spicy dishes, must try this Sambal. It is suitable for grilled fish or grilled chicken. Very easy to make.


Ingredients

Red chili  10 pieces. Chopped

  • 8 cloves Red onion. Chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic. Chopped
  • 1 lemongrass opened, discard outer old enough to take part in white and then chopped
  • Terasi (Shrimp paste) ½ teaspoon. 
  • lime leaves 2 pieces. Clean and then cut thin. 
  • ¼ teaspoon salt. 
  • sugar ¼ teaspoon . 
  • Lime juice ½ tablespoon. 
  • Vegetable oil for frying, 3 tablespoons. 


How to make


  • Mix all Ingredients exept oil. 
  • Finally, heat the oil in until hot, pour to ingredient.Stir.And serve with grilled fish or grilled chicken. And don't forget Warm rice.
